Program Manager (Procurement)

Our government client is looking for a Program Manager for a procurement transformation project.

Your new role

As Program Manager (Procurement Transformation), you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic program aimed at modernising and optimising procurement processes, systems, and capabilities. This includes overseeing multiple workstreams, managing cross-functional teams, and driving cultural and technological change to enable digitally enhanced processes and improved transparency. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and governance forums to ensure alignment with organisational objectives, timelines, and budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale procurement or transformation programs in a compliance-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed organisation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., Zycus, SAP Ariba) and public sector experience.
