Your new role
We are recruiting for multiple roles across their cooking, production and packaging teams, covering multiple shift times. Working with allergens (dairy, seafood etc), this role involves handling of food products and operating machinery, as well as manual handling.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have:
Proven machine operation experience within the food industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong numeracy skills
Exceptional work ethic and dedication
Knowledge and experience working with food safety
The ability to work around and be in contact with allergens
A focus on meeting deadlines and high attention to detail
The desire to work within a strong team environment
The ability to learn quickly and follow procedures and instructions
A focus on health and safety.
The following skills are highly desirable:
Experience in either pastry making or meat processing
Commercial cooking with large volumes of 200-300 kg mixes
Operating equipment running large volume products
Continuous improvement training
Food safety certification.
