Your new role
As a Production Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to meet customer demand while optimising resources and maintaining inventory targets.
You will play a key role in coordinating across production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. The role will also involve monitoring material requirements, managing inventory levels, and adjusting plans in response to changing priorities.
This position requires someone who can step in quickly, take ownership of planning activities, and make an immediate impact within the business.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in production planning and scheduling (essential)
- Background working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with maintenance coordination in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of inventory management and material planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Systems experience (ERP/MRP) and solid Excel capability
