Hays are currently working with a leading manufacturing company in Melbourne’s South East suburbs and due to a long term employee retiring, they require highly skilled and motivated Production MIG Welder to join their team.
Our client is a small to medium company that specialises in designing and fabricating metal products.

Your new role

Your new role will see you working in a workshop environment and reporting to the Production Supervisor with convenient Monday to Friday hours. This position will predominately involve welding 5-8mm mild steel, as well as; reading drawings, mig welding all thickness, production and prototype quantities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience welding MIG Mild Steel and Aluminium
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Be able to read drawings and mig weld all thickness
• Committed to obtaining long term work
