Production Manager

Your new role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end production function, overseeing teams across manufacturing and site delivery. Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage planning, cost control, program delivery and people leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to contract requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and supporting production, contract administration and supervisory teams
  • Managing production programs, budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
  • Driving efficiency, consistency and profitability across all production packages
  • Monitoring progress on the production floor and on site, including regular site attendance
  • Overseeing accruals, invoicing, cost codes, reporting and payment processes
  • Managing WHS compliance across manufacturing and site activities
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve project and business objectives
  • Resolving issues and disputes while maintaining strong relationships with trades and suppliers

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong leadership capability and a solid background in production or construction management, supported by sound commercial acumen.
You will also have:
  • Proven experience leading and developing technical or production-based teams
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including reporting at a senior level
  • Good contractual and compliance knowledge within a construction environment
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications and technical information
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong commitment to WHS, quality assurance and continuous improvement
A construction trade or building qualification and senior production management experience will be highly regarded.
