Our defence client, who are based in Melbourne, is currently looking for a number of procurement candidates to assist and manage the end-to-end procurement process and contracting activities across a range of associated suppliers and subcontracts.

Your new role

Procurement Specialist
Sourcing Specialist
Subcontract Specialist

• Execution, tasking and support to deliver effective contracts management of all projects
• Development of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and deliver on business requirements
• Initiate, draft, evaluate and negotiate subcontracts. This will include the drafting and management of approaches to market.
• Responsible for future scaled category management
• Ensure at all stages of contracting, alignment and ongoing management of subcontractors with prime contracting
• Manage the inputs and reviews from commercial and pre-contracting aspects
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and already hold an Australian Government security clearance (minimum of BASELINE clearance level).

You will come up with strong commercial and business acumen and strong end-to-end procurement or contract management skills. ASDEFCON knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
