Senior Procurement Officer required across Construction, AM and Infrastructure project teams in Gov Org.

A well-known government organisation, based in Sydney CBD, requires a Senior Procurement Sourcing Officer across the Construction, Asset Management and Infrastructure project teams.

Your new role

Manage and coordinate the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for the construction category, including professional services such as Architects, Engineers.

Offer specialised procurement sourcing services for Asset Management and Infrastructure projects to guide procurement planning and sourcing decisions, ensuring cost-effective, value-for-money outcomes in line with legislative requirements and NSW Government procurement goals.

Oversee the tender sourcing phase, including procurement planning, development, and risk management activities, to meet business and operational needs and achieve best practice procurement results.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive Senior Sourcing / Procurement / Contract Management Experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NSW Government procurement policies, systems, procedures and legislation, including probity.
  • Must have run/lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including managing evaluation processes.
  • Construction tender (GC21/MW21) experience is a must.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at tight timeframe running at different stages.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
