This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing procurement team that plays a critical role in delivering efficient and effective contract management and procurement services across the business.

Your new role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager and be responsible for managing complex procurement activities and contracts for goods and services. You will also provide leadership support to less experienced team members, offering mentoring and technical procurement advice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
• Developing and maintaining supplier relationships and managing supplier performance.
• Supporting the development of sourcing strategies and identifying contract risks.
• Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Framework and maintaining probity in all procurement activities.
• Assisting with the development of Contract Management Plans and managing contract variations and claims.

What you'll need to succeed

• A CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalent tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Finance.

• 5–7 years’ experience in procurement and contract management.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier performance management, and modern supply chain systems.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
