A respected organisation in the resources sector is seeking a Procurement Principal to lead sourcing and contract management across ICT categories. Based in Brisbane, this is a contract role for up to six months, with an immediate start available. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent. The successful applicant must be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible work arrangements on offer.

Your new role

• Lead sourcing and contract negotiations across ICT categories
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Support the development and implementation of category strategies
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with legal and commercial teams on contract terms
• Monitor spend, savings, and supplier KPIs
• Provide procurement insights and reporting to stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven procurement experience in ICT categories
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Experience in large, complex organisations
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
• Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools
