Are you ready to lead procurement strategies and make a real impact in the mining and oil & gas sector? We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Category Manager to join a Supply Management team in Western Australia, supporting National and Global Strategic Accounts.
About the Role
In this crucial leadership position, you’ll set the strategic direction for Facilities Management (FM) categories, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and seamless service delivery. You'll execute procurement methodologies, manage supplier performance, and drive procurement projects during bids and mobilisation phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across FM categories.
- Lead supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Address delivery, quality, cost, or compliance issues impacting operations.
- Support high-value projects for tenders and mobilisations.
- Represent the Supply Management team with integrity and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- Expertise: Proven ability to lead sourcing categories,
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, majoring in Supply Chain Management/Procurement.
- Leadership & Strategy: Strong project management skills and a customer-focused mindset.
