A respected organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Procurement Advisor to support procurement governance, reporting and improvement initiatives. Based in Brisbane CBD, this is a permanent role offering flexible work arrangements, including two work-from-home days and flexible hours.
Your new role
As Procurement Advisor, you’ll play a key role in enhancing procurement frameworks, driving compliance, and supporting strategic procurement initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements and best practice.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of procurement governance frameworks and procedures
- Leading procurement performance reporting and compliance monitoring
- Coordinating the annual procurement planning process
- Supporting strategic procurement improvement projects, including sustainability initiatives
- Managing procurement-related risk and assurance activities
- Facilitating capability-building initiatives across the procurement function
- Overseeing procurement documentation and SharePoint content management
- Providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through data analysis and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain or governance roles
- Strong understanding of procurement legislation and policy frameworks
- Proven ability to lead governance and reporting initiatives in complex environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Experience with procurement systems and performance frameworks
