They are seeking a Principal Consultant with experience in Occupational Hygiene, to lead and drive business in that area of the firm. Salary can be negotiated in line with responsibilities and targets for new business generated.

Your new role

As a Principal Consultant in Occupational Hygiene, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering expert advice, managing complex client engagements, and driving innovation in workplace health and safety. You’ll work across diverse industries including mining, manufacturing, infrastructure, and government, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.

• Lead and manage occupational hygiene projects from scoping to delivery.
• Provide expert consultancy on exposure assessments, risk management, and control strategies.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams across environmental, health, and safety domains.
• Work to ascertain targets for bringing in new business to the firm

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Hygiene, Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or working towards certification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in occupational hygiene consulting or industry.
• Strong technical knowledge in exposure monitoring, hazardous substances, and ventilation assessments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for improving workplace health and driving sustainable outcomes.
