Your New Role
Reporting
to senior leadership, you will take ownership of month ‑ end
reporting, cashflow forecasting, and key finance cycles. You will oversee a
capable accounts team who manage day ‑ to ‑ day processing, allowing you to remain focused on
analysis, accuracy, and forward planning.
This is
a hands ‑ on, influential role where your insights will shape
operational and strategic decisions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly management
reporting packs including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and performance
insights
- Maintain a cashflow forecast,
and support annual budgeting and major expenditure planning
- Lead, coordinate and mentor the
accounts team to ensure processing accuracy and timely completion of
obligations
- Oversee BAS, payroll tax
(QLD/NSW/VIC), superannuation, payroll and contractor payments
- Review WIP, disbursements and
debtors, ensuring effective billing and recovery processes
- Support multi ‑ entity reporting, including
property ‑ related entities
- Manage annual requirements
including STP finalisation, payroll tax reconciliation, WorkCover/iCare,
ASIC compliance and trust audit coordination
- Maintain robust checklists,
controls and reporting standards within Xero and internal systems
What You’ll Bring
- Strong, hands ‑ on accounting/finance
experience (professional services experience highly regarded)
- Commercial mindset with the
ability to interpret numbers, identify issues early and recommend
practical solutions
- Confident communicator able to
explain financial insights to non ‑ finance
stakeholders
- High proficiency in Xero and
exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, organised and
comfortable working with autonomy
