Join a leading South Australian organisation undertaking a significant transformation of their core Claims platform. This is a high‑visibility project where you will play a critical role in ensuring reporting accuracy, data quality and successful migration from legacy systems to a modern cloud-based environment.

Your new role

• Adapting and enhancing existing Power BI reports to align with new Duck Creek data structures.
• Testing new Duck Creek data and validating it against migrated Claims data.
• Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and defects—and visualising these quickly via Power BI.
• Reviewing SQL queries and mapping them from the legacy system to new Duck Creek streams.
• Collaborating with business SMEs to define test cases and validation rules.
• Raising defects, clarifying data issues, and supporting subsequent test cycles.
• Working closely with data engineers and testers during the SIT and UAT phases.
• Supporting delivery of 36–39 reports by the end of February, followed by full test cycles and go‑live.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong hands-on Power BI skills, including report troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Basic–intermediate SQL skills for query reviews and data validation.
• Experience in insurance or claims data (highly advantageous).
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to proactively follow up issues, escalate blockers and work collaboratively.
• A practical, hands-on approach to testing and defect management.
