Your new role

• Preparing high-level briefings, correspondence, and Cabinet documentation.
• Interpreting legislation and developing plain English advisory material.
• Liaising with technical staff and undertaking research to provide explanatory guidance.
• Leading consultation processes within a collaborative framework.
• Conducting presentations and creating accessible guidance material.
• Supporting internal reviews, complaints management, and administrative tasks.

• Understanding of work health and safety and workplace relations legislation, or ability to acquire knowledge.
• Proven advisory writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide clear advice on government policy.
• Strong project development and management capabilities.
• Effective time management and high-quality delivery under limited direction.
• Awareness of relevant legislation.
