Your new role

Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and ongoing maintenance of a diverse range of mobile plant and equipment. This role offers a mix of workshop-based and field service work across the Melbourne region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy plant machinery
  • Performing preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Maintaining accurate service records and reports
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and procedures
  • Responding to breakdowns both in the workshop and on-site when required


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic or equivalent
  • Strong experience working on earthmoving and construction equipment
  • Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • A valid driver’s licence (HR highly desirable)
  • Someone with a positive can-do attitude, willing to learn
