Your new role

In your new role as a Personal Assistant, you will become a vital member of a bustling firm located in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD. Supporting a Partner within this firm, you willplay a key role in a prestigious organisation, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with administrative and reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Drafting and typing correspondence and documents.
  • Handling photocopying, faxing, binding, and collation of documents.
  • Typing documents as dictated on the Bighand system.
  • Maintaining daily file reminders and calendars.
  • Arranging internal and external meetings when requested, and proactively providing support to other staff in the office.
  • Undertaking all billings, related accounts administration, and debtor collection activities on the Aderant Expert system, as directed by the Credit Controller.
  • Opening and closing files, entering time on behalf of team members, and accurately recording all time in the Aderant Expert system.
  • Effectively maintaining all files, including daily filing, and collating mail (correspondence and attachments).
  • Undertaking searches and various Paralegal duties, such as conducting research, drafting documents, attending meetings, and liaising with clients.
  • Meeting the firm’s Key Performance Indicators as advised.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including arranging meetings, maintaining files, and assisting with billing and debtor collection activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant.
  • Skilled typist with a minimum speed of 60 wpm and 98% accuracy.
  • Experienced in using MS Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Exceptional Organisational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Strong time management capabilities, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with supervisors and staff.
