This forward-thinking global business is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their Australian operations on a temporary part-time basis (3 days per week). The role will be based in their Brisbane CBD offices which are located close to public transport links and a hybrid working environment is also available.
Your new role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll
- Handle payroll enquiries from employees
- Payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Process terminations
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Extensive end-to-end payroll experience
- Experience working with multiple payroll systems
- Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
- Excellent communication skills
