A well-established and reputable company is seeking a skilled stand-alone Payroll Officer to join its Finance team. Their offices are based in Osborne Park with parking on site.
Your new role
- Process weekly payroll including timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain and update employee records and payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct payroll audits and prepare relevant financial reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and liaise with insurers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven payroll experience, ideally in a standalone role.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
