In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including but not limited to;
Input of time and attendance information into the SAP and Kronos systems.
Process pays for a large number of employees
Daily analysis and input of timesheet data for weekly pay runs for approximately 650 employees.
Creation and processing of employee files, from new starters to terminations.
Handling various issues, including workers queries, employee verifications, etc.
Coordination of information to head office payroll including electronic and paper file.
Monitor and manage payroll queries as required
Record and report all payroll requirements to
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have the following knowledge and skills:
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, with a particular focus on Excel Spreadsheet
Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger sized company
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Officer.
Proficient in using payroll software MYOB
Strong Verbal and written Communication
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start at their Mackay location. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a total of 38 hours per week. This a permanent position that's available. Offering a base of $90,000 per annum plus super.
