Your new company
This national service-based company, which is the leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing payroll team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in their Brisbane offices, which are located in Eight Mile Plains with on-site car parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Employee file maintenance
- Weekly payroll processing
- Processing holiday / sick pay
- Payroll calculations
- Award interpretation
- Handling payroll queries via phone and email
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger sized company
- Previous experience with award interpretation
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
