Payroll Officer role available - Mt Gravatt location | 6-week temp role

Your new company

This forward-thinking organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing payroll team on a temporary basis for 6 weeks approximately. The position will be based in their Brisbane Mt Gravatt offices, which offers excellent public transport options.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Employee file maintenance
  • Prepare & process fortnightly payroll
  • Payroll Reconciliations
  • Handle payroll queries from employees
  • Communication with both internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Extensive payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment

What you'll get in return

You will have the opportunity to work for this well-known organisation on a contract basis initially; however a longer-term role may be available for the right candidate based on performance.
