This growing company that operates in a thriving sector are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their small team on a permanent full-time basis. The position will be based in their Brisbane Inner City offices which are centrally located close to various public transport options and lunchtime dining destinations.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll
- Handle payroll enquiries from employees
- Payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
What you’ll need to succeed:
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- End to end payroll experience working in a medium pay environment
- Experience working with multiple payroll systems
- Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
- Excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with various key stakeholders in the business
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
