Your new company
This organisation is well-established in the education sector; they are seeking a permanent payroll officer in a standalone payroll capacity. You will be responsible for the entire payroll function and work within a small finance team.
Your new role
- Process end-to-end payroll for 400+ employees, including STP reporting, salary packaging, leave entitlements, terminations, super, third-party deductions
- Verify all payments, calculations and disbursements
- Process month-end including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain up-to-date payroll information and resolve payroll discrepancies; manage enquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Maintain the payroll system, ensure all data is accurate and up to date
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated payroll experience, standalone is advantageous!
- Exposure to major ERP software
- Strong Excel skills
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Commitment to professional development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
