Your new role
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data. This position is critical to maintaining smooth payroll operations during a busy period and will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain compliance.
- Accurately input payroll data, including timesheet information, into the payroll system.
- Ensure timely completion of payroll processes to meet fortnightly deadlines.
- Process reimbursements, new starters, and exits in line with company policy.
- Respond to employee payroll queries via email and phone.
- Prioritise tasks effectively during the payroll cycle and resolve issues promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar payroll role.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
