Based in Sydney’s CBD, this company provides practice solutions and finance options to support professionals who serve their community. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, they are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team on a FTC for 12 months.
Your new role
Joining a team of 3, you will:
- Process payroll for a medium-volume workforce, including but not limited to payroll adjustments, terminations, new hire processes and worker’s comp payments
- Complete monthly reports and relevant payroll activities
- Process reconciliations and leave accruals
- Assist in the preparation of superannuation payments
- Record keeping and administration of payroll functions
- Support the team in answering payroll queries
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of general payroll and relevant pay systems
- Exposure to leave accruals and reconciliations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to focus and have a good eye for detail in payroll processing
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
