Payroll Manager for a Financial Service company based in the outskirts of Melbourne paying up to $180k

This internationally renowned organisation is looking for a payroll manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This company really prides itself on doing the right thing and values all the stakeholders of the business. This role focusses on the strategic growth of their payroll division while always keeping the company's values at the heart of everything they do.

Your new role

  • Lead payroll Operations, ensuring seamless integration and efficiencies over the next 12 months.

  • Optimise systems and Processes to support 50% workforce growth.

  • Ensure timely, Accurate payments while enhancing employee experience.

  • Implement and streamline the payroll processes to ensure it is both as efficient as possible and employee focused.

  • Payroll Operations will not be a main part of your role. However, with it being a smaller team, you will need to have strong payroll experience and be able to get involved on an adhoc basis.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experienced payroll leader from a large corporate background.

  • Skilled in mergers and payroll strategic leadership (System optimisation, organisational scalability and enhancing the customer experience)

  • Technically proficient, with iChris knowledge (preferred, not essential).

Personal Profile

  • Professional, polished, calm, competent, and capable of direct communication.

  • Approachable, honest, and able to provide clear, constructive feedback.

  • Strong strategic mindset, driving payroll improvements beyond day-to-day operations.

  • Genuine care about the role and the impact payroll has over an organisation.
