A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their Shared Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing payroll function within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your new role

As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies. You will lead and develop a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain robust payroll systems and processes.

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and relevant legislation
• Manage payroll tax, superannuation, and statutory reporting obligations
• Lead and coach a team of payroll professionals
• Collaborate with finance, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and risk management
• Drive process improvements and maintain high service standards

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–10 years’ experience in payroll or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements

• Proven leadership and team development skills

• Diploma of Payroll Management (desirable)

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
