Your new company

This highly reputable company based in Melbourne CBD is looking for a Payroll Manager to be the main point of contact for anything payroll related. This will be a standalone position and will be a hands-on payroll position.

Your new role

On a day to day you will be responsible for:

• Manage the end to end fortnightly payroll process for circa 350 employees
• Starters, terminations, leavers through the HR system, complex redundancies, deductions, allowances salary sacrifices.
• Prepare and reconcile outputs, single-touch payroll reporting and superannuation payments
• Lifestyle leave, parental leave and Workcover policies.
• Oversee directors payroll
• Conduct annual payroll compliance including FBT and PAYG reporting.
• Ensure the payroll process is updated with legislation and laws.
• Suggest implementation improvements or any efficiencies across payroll.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have the following experience for this role:

• Either iChris (preferred) or Chris21 experience
• Experience in a standalone payroll position
• Have experience completing the end-to-end payroll process for circa 350 staff
• Have strong payroll knowledge, including legislation etc, because you will be the main and only point of contact for payroll.
