This privately owned technical business is seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Support Officer to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will be based in their Brisbane offices which are located in Fortitude Valley and close to various public transport connections.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up new employees
- Preparing and processing payroll
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Assisting with HR administration
- Provide support to the Finance Manager as required
- Assist with accounts payable & accounts receivable
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll processing is essential and ideally, accounts clerical duties
- Strong IT and systems experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
