An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payment Officer to join a well‑established, client‑focused organisation in the Geelong region
Your new role
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end processing of high‑volume provider accounts and client reimbursements. You will deliver first‑call resolution through inbound and outbound calls, resolve complex payment issues, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely and accurate outcomes.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about providing high‑quality customer service.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, administration or finance (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in high‑volume payment or accounts processing
- Strong customer service background with proven first‑call resolution capability
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify root causes
- Experience influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong systems capability, including experience with enterprise systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and service standards
