Your new role

We are seeking an experienced senior practising accountant to join our leadership team. This role is central to our long-term succession planning and offers the opportunity to shape the future of our accounting division. You will lead a $1M+ fee base (with the opportunity to grow further), drive internal transformation through automation and KPI tracking, and collaborate across divisions to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting team to achieve strategic goals and improve productivity.
Implement and oversee automation processes and KPI tracking systems.
Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with financial planning and lending teams to enhance inter-division referrals.
Contribute to innovation and digital engagement within the accounting function.
Support succession planning and mentor emerging leaders.

What you'll need to succeed

CA or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in a senior accounting or leadership role - Likely currently in a Senior Manager or Principal role.
Strong business advisory and tax expertise.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and grow client relationships.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
