Permanent Part-time Administration Officer required for an Accounting firm in Cairns

Join a well-established chartered accounting firm located in Cairns. With a team of 10 professionals and a growing client base, this firm is passionate about providing high-quality service to their clients.
They are seeking an Administration Officer to be the first point of contact for their clients.

Your new role

This permanent part-time position will see you supporting the entire team with a variety of administrative tasks. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a warm and professional welcome. Working approximately 20 hours per week across five days (e.g., 9am–1pm or 10am–2pm), your responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting clients and managing reception
  • Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries
  • Maintaining and updating the client database
  • Ordering office supplies and managing inventory
  • Document control and uploading files to the client portal
  • General office errands and administrative support

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service
  • Professional phone manner, expectational customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in using MS Office and experience in MYOB would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage client records with accuracy
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
