Job Advertisement: Parks and Gardens Grounds Maintenance
Are you passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? We're seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our parks and gardens looking their best.
Location: South of the River

Your Duties May Include:
  • Maintenance of public parks and gardens, including weeding, planting, mulching, watering, and spraying plants and trees
  • Verge clean-up to ensure tidy and well-maintained surroundings
  • Operating various tools such as whipper snippers, blowers, ride-on mowers, and chainsaws
  • Performing physical and manual handling tasks
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture
  • Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Relevant certifications (if applicable)
  • MR or HR desired but not essential
  • Horticulture Certificate desired but not essential
