Parks and Gardens Workers / Landscape Labourers

Your new company

Our client is an established local organisation based on the Sunshine Coast. They are looking for motivated workers to maintain their parks and gardens. This organisation prides themselves on being innovative and community-focused.

Your new role

You will be joining the team with a focus on looking after parks and reserves on a large, commercial scale. This will include carrying out horticulture and landscaping tasks such as:
  • Planting, weeding, mulching and pruning
  • Mowing
  • Irrigation
  • Turf management
  • Plant propagation
  • Remove and dispose of debris and litter from parks and gardens;
  • Assist and undertake landscape construction and maintenance
  • Paving / concreting
  • Hard scape landscaping
  • General labouring; and
  • Spray and control pests in parks and gardens.
What you'll need to succeed


  • Construction Industry White Card.
  • Current “C” class driver’s licence
  • 6–12 months of experience in landscaping or garden maintenance
  • Certificate II or III in Horticulture or relevant experience highly regarded
  • Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending.
  • Experience and ability to operate relevant equipment (e.g. mowers, chainsaws, mulchers, brush cutters, etc.)
  • AC/DC Licence desirable (not essential)
  • Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid Licence (HR) is desirable but not essential.
