Your new role
As a Temporary Parking Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring parking zones, issuing infringement notices, and educating the public on local parking regulations. You’ll patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, respond to complaints, and assist with traffic management during events or emergencies. This role is vital in promoting compliance and ensuring equitable use of public parking facilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a regulatory, enforcement, or customer service role
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A current driving licence and a satisfactory police clearance
- Knowledge of local government procedures and parking regulations (desirable)
