Your new role
An exciting short-term opportunity is available for an experienced Paralegal to join the team on an initial 10–12 week engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension.
In this role, you will work within a legal environment supporting lawyers with administrative and case-related processes. While you won’t be required to draft legal documents, you will play a critical role in ensuring matters progress efficiently through key administrative and procedural stages.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and responding to a high volume of data requests
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and case files
- Supporting case workflow and administrative processes
- Using business systems including Excel, Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM systems)
- Collaborating closely with legal team members and contributing to a busy, high-performing practice
This is a full time position that requires on-site presence in the Melbourne CBD office at least three days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a highly experienced Paralegal who is confident working in a legal environment and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly pick up new processes and systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience managing large volumes of information and data requests
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with Salesforce or case management systems (e.g. Case Foundations) is advantageous.
Legal qualifications are not essential but may be considered favourably.
