Our client is a busy state government agency specialised in personal injury law, that fosters a culture of work-life balance and flexibility.

Your new role

In your new role of Paralegal, you will work within a large team of experienced lawyers and carry out sound legal judgement to assist with the assessment of applications for grant funding for legal assistance from external lawyers in accordance with organisational guidelines. You will provide information, guidance, advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on a range of matters.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia
  • A minimum 3 years’ of experience managing workers' compensation files on the plaintiff side.
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and efficiently
