Your new role
- Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces (e.g. steel, concrete) for coating
- Apply protective coatings such as epoxy, polyurethane, and industrial paints
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting/painting to ensure quality standards
- Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently
- Work in confined spaces and at heights, following strict safety protocols
- Mix and match paint products according to specifications and environmental conditions
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs on coated surfaces as needed
- Follow job specifications, drawings, and work instructions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment
- Complete documentation and reports related to work performed
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to environmental regulations and waste disposal procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Painter & Blaster.
- Cert III Engineering-Surface Prep & Finishing
- Driving Licence
- Work Safely at Heights Certificate (desirable).
- Confined Space Entry Certificate (desirable).
- High Risk Work Licence (desirable).
- A proactive and safety-first mindset.
- Strong work ethic, focus and attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude, motivated and willing to work as a team.
- Must be reliable with good time management.
- Willing to contribute and align with our values.
