Your new role

  • Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces (e.g. steel, concrete) for coating
  • Apply protective coatings such as epoxy, polyurethane, and industrial paints
  • Inspect surfaces before and after blasting/painting to ensure quality standards
  • Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights, following strict safety protocols
  • Mix and match paint products according to specifications and environmental conditions
  • Conduct touch-ups and repairs on coated surfaces as needed
  • Follow job specifications, drawings, and work instructions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment
  • Complete documentation and reports related to work performed
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and waste disposal procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a Painter & Blaster.
  • Cert III Engineering-Surface Prep & Finishing
  • Driving Licence
  • Work Safely at Heights Certificate (desirable).
  • Confined Space Entry Certificate (desirable).
  • High Risk Work Licence (desirable).
  • A proactive and safety-first mindset.
  • Strong work ethic, focus and attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude, motivated and willing to work as a team.
  • Must be reliable with good time management.
  • Willing to contribute and align with our values.
