Your new company
Our client operates a portfolio of critical assets in the nationwide fuel supply infrastructure. Its Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the governance of successful project delivery with its main contractor and subcontractor across a significant number of sustaining capital projects. This P6 Scheduler contract role has been newly created in the PMO to support the Project Management team in the Melbourne Office, to ramp up project delivery productivity.
Your new role
- Ensure alignment with the taxonomy of cost codes and resource identification with subcontractors as they are onboarded;
- Update and maintain schedules for the designated portfolio of sustaining capital projects;
- Identify and report on risks to schedule slippage and anomalies in contractor reports on project progress;
- Prepare status update reports for review and sign-off by the Planning Manager and Project Managers;
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience with P6 is essential, although detailed planning experience is not required as training and development support will be provided as needed;
- Exposure to, and understanding of engineering and construction in sustaining capital / brownfield projects is desirable;
- Candidates with maintenance planning experience will be considered, assuming hands-on experience with Primavera;
