A well‑established organisation within the community sector is seeking an experienced People & Culture Coordinator to join their team on a 3–6month temporary assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys variety across the employee lifecycle.

Your new role

Reporting to the P&C Team Leader, you will provide high‑quality support across HR operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract preparation, employment changes and offboarding.
  • Managing first‑level HR enquiries and triaging more complex matters.
  • Preparing HR documentation, reports, and data to support audits, compliance, and operational priorities.
  • Supporting HR projects such as engagement surveys, system improvements, and process optimisation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, files, and HR systems.
  • Collaborating with HR Advisors, Business Partners, Payroll and wider business stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar HR coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, NES and award/EA interpretation.
  • Experience using HRIS/ATS systems (PageUp or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
