Your new company

This Federal Government agency based in Barton, ACT is currently looking for their newest Organisational Change Manager to work out of their Business Services Division (ICT & Data Branch) on a variety of ICT based projects.

Your new role

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of ICT and data projects across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to assess change impacts and develop change management plans tailored to each project’s needs.
  • Create communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about project updates, milestones, and changes.
  • Identify potential risks and resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  • Provide coaching and support to project teams, leaders, and staff to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to build change management capabilities with the organisation.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in change management and technology adoption.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strategic thinker: Ability to develop and implement change management strategies aligned with the organisational goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements, stakeholder needs, and organisational dynamics.
  • Problem-solving skills: Aptitude for identifying potential obstacles to change and developing creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Coaching abilities: Capability to coach and motivate project teams and individuals through periods of transition and uncertainty.
  • Change Management expertise: In-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Training and development: Ability to design and deliver training programs including videos, user guides and other related artefacts.
