Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and process to ensure optimal performance
- Crane operations includes loading/unloading trucks – weighing bundles-picking orders for customers.
- Strapping and splitting of bundles
- Furnace work – preparing bars for furnace – loading / unloading bars in and out of furnace
- Conduct routine quality checks and report any deviations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Trade qualifications or a mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills across the business
- You must be reliable and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Forklift licence or HR licence is a plus.
- Overhead crane competency
- Role works predominately day shift, but some afternoon and night shifts may be required.
