Your new role

• Operate and monitor production machinery and process to ensure optimal performance
• Crane operations includes loading/unloading trucks – weighing bundles-picking orders for customers.
• Strapping and splitting of bundles
• Furnace work – preparing bars for furnace – loading / unloading bars in and out of furnace
• Conduct routine quality checks and report any deviations
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Trade qualifications or a mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills across the business
• You must be reliable and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Forklift licence or HR licence is a plus.
• Overhead crane competency
• Role works predominately day shift, but some afternoon and night shifts may be required.
