Online Communications Administrator

4-month temporary contract opportunity for an Online Communications Administrator within state government.

Our client is looking for an experienced Online Communications Admin to join their team on a 4-month temporary contract.

Your new role

  • Maintains and enhances the Commission’s website and intranet, including content updates, design consistency, usability improvements, and integration of new tools and technologies.

  • Ensures reliable hosting, backups, and domain management; monitors renewals and liaises with service providers to maintain operational continuity.

  • Keeps the website aligned with government accessibility standards and ensures external links and microsites meet quality and performance benchmarks.

  • Manages the organisations CRM and EMS systems, including basic maintenance, monitoring, and support for internal users.

  • Provides regular reports on website performance, user engagement, costings, and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.

  • Develops and delivers website marketing updates and supports integration of social media and emerging technologies to enhance online presence.

  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to resolve website-related issues, update contact records, and assist staff with data management and tool customisation.

  • Maintains and monitors digital platforms including websites, intranets, and mobile applications; applies a range of digital tools and technologies to support communication and service delivery.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats; builds and maintains positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, providing responsive and professional support.

  • Approaches challenges with a calm and solution-focused mindset; researches and analyses information to resolve issues and adapt to changing needs and priorities.

  • Effectively manages workload by prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines; demonstrates initiative and independence in achieving work objectives.
