Office Drawing Manager - HVAC

Leading a small team, you will be responsible for delivering quality design and documentation while leading a team to do the same.

Your new role

As the Office Drawing Manager, you will oversee the design and drafting function, as well as managing a team of draftspeople, coordinating project drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and liaising with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate and timely documentation.
Key duties:
  • Produce high-quality mechanical services documentation using Revit (primarily) and AutoCAD
  • Lead and mentor the drafting team.
  • Review and approve HVAC drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet deadlines and specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes and documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in HVAC drafting and design management.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical services and building codes.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage, develop and grow a team.
