An organisation supporting the building and construction industry is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join their Launceston office. Your new role
As the first point of contact, you will provide a professional, welcoming and responsive experience for visitors, members and stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the office and provide coordinated support across training delivery, apprentice services, membership engagement and general office functions. Working as part of a statewide administration team, you will be relied upon for your ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and contribute to consistent and efficient administrative processes. Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Managing front desk reception and incoming enquiries
• Delivering gold standard customer service to members and stakeholders
• Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate databases and records
• Providing administrative support to training programs including course materials and catering coordination
• Assisting with apprentice services documentation and record management
• Supporting membership services and responding to enquiries
• Maintaining office supplies and assisting with WHS and property related tasks
• Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes and service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role, you will possess the following:
• Proven experience in an administration or reception role
• Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in working collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders
