Hays are partnered with a large state government department in Perth CBD, who are looking for Network Inspectors to assist with the maintenance of roads and vegetation across the metro area.

**Please note: This request is to establish a pool of candidates who may be engaged on an as-needed basis, dependent on the current workload.

Your new role

• Conduct inspections of road networks to identify defects related to roads, vegetation, signage, and other infrastructure.
• Provide detailed scopes of maintenance work and assign defect priorities to support effective maintenance delivery.
• Interpret and apply technical specifications, plans, and drawings.
• Accurately document findings and use computer systems to support reporting and planning.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all inspection and reporting tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents, plans, specifications, and drawings is essential.
• Proficiency in using personal computers and software applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Previous experience in road maintenance and construction is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:
Succesful candidates must pass a pre-engagement drug and alcohol test and must be physically fit and capable of performing outdoor work in varying conditions.
