Your new role

You’ll be engaged as a Multiskilled Street Cleansing Attendant, working on assignment with various local councils. Your duties may include litter collection, street sweeping, pressure washing, bin servicing, graffiti removal, and general upkeep of public spaces. You’ll operate small plant and equipment, complete daily service tasks, and contribute to the overall presentation of council‑managed areas. Assignments may vary in length, location, and scope, giving you flexibility and variety in your day‑to‑day work.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in labouring, outdoor maintenance, waste services, or similar hands‑on roles
• A current driver's licence (MR or HR highly regarded)
• No criminal history within the last 9 years (Hays paid Police Check)
• Ability to safely operate small plant and equipment
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• A positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and within council teams
• Flexibility to travel to different council sites as required
