• Oversee daily operations of the mine site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise production efficiency and resource management.
• Manage budgets and financial forecasts related to mine operations and projects.
• Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork within the workforce.
• Collaborate with engineering and geology teams to develop and execute operational plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure operational and safety compliance is maintained.
• Compile and present operational reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Must hold QM and/or SSE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations management.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and environmental best practices in the mining industry.
• Proficient in project management principles and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience of leading diverse teams in a complex environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
