Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Support Specialist
to focus on the ongoing support and optimization of the Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.
Your new role
Please note, this is not an implementation based role. This is a functional support role where you will be the go-to expert for maintaining and enhancing the performance of the MS Dynamics AX 2012/ 365 F&O system, particularly across the Finance modules. You will work closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the system continues to meet operational needs, resolve issues efficiently, and support minor enhancements and continuous improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Provide day-to-day functional support for Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 F&O, focusing on Finance modules: GL, AR, AP, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Consolidations, Revenue Recognition, Asset Leasing, Taxation, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand support needs and deliver timely solutions.
- Maintain and update system configurations and documentation.
- Support minor enhancements, automations, and process improvements within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- Work with integration teams to support middleware and data flow between systems.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation, whitepapers, and internal training.
What you'll get in return
- 5–7 years of functional experience with Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 F&O in Finance modules.
- Dynamics 365 Financial certifications.
- Strong understanding of BAU support processes, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience in developing or supporting industry solutions, accelerators, and automation within Dynamics 365.
- Solid knowledge of financial processes and module configurations.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience with integration solutions using middleware.
- Background in finance or accounting, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and Power Platform is a plus.
- Proven ability to document support processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
